The useful question: quick cleanup or a whole-car job?
A small cordless vacuum is an appealing convenience. But convenience only becomes value if it suits the mess you actually need to remove. Before comparing model numbers, write down your regular job: crumbs around the console, dusty seat seams, or a full interior with embedded debris. Those are different demands.
Our assessment is provisional. Published specifications describe the tool; they do not establish how effectively it cleans your upholstery. We would want controlled pickup tests before declaring either model a performance winner.

Where the value question remains open
The LED is a tangible feature difference. If you regularly clean in a dim garage, illumination is worth considering. Whether it meaningfully improves your cleaning routine is something to test, rather than assume.
A suction rating is not a pickup result. The matching maximum rating does not prove equivalent cleaning. Nozzle shape, contact with the surface and debris type could change the outcome. A convincing comparison needs the same mess and the same procedure for both tools.
Runtime needs context. Do not read the longest quoted figure as a promise for your most demanding job. We would record the setting used, elapsed cleaning time, and whether the battery lasts through a complete vehicle.
What we would test with a review sample
- Pickup on hard surfaces and upholstery using documented, repeatable debris quantities.
- Access to seat seams and under-seat spaces in a real vehicle.
- Usable runtime at each setting and charging time.
- Emptying, filter upkeep and the availability and cost of replacement parts.
Until those checks are complete, this is a specification review, not a tested endorsement. Check the exact “Slim APEX” model name: similarly named Fold, Ultra and Mate products are separate models. Review current seller pricing, return terms and warranty coverage before making your own decision.
